When I began my mentoring sessions with Charlie, I wasn’t sure what to

expect. It’s fair to say I had a lack of confidence and my photography was

bimbling along with no purpose. In each session, Charlie put me at ease with

relaxed good humour, and fair, constructive feedback. Charlie encouraged

me to read my images, to see where I could improve and push myself. She

taught me how to use projects and sets to show how images could sit

together as a whole. More importantly, she encouraged me to have faith in

my work and with that newly found confidence, I am now a member of The

Guild of Photographers, have sold a few prints and have a contract with

Forestry England to provide greeting cards. This is all something I wouldn’t

have done before Charlie’s mentoring sessions. Thank you Charlie, you gave
